On Tuesday June 15, 2010 Moët & Chandon kicked off The Rosé Lounge in New York City;
An Exclusive Seven City Summertime Affair with Star Power which introduced the new Nectar Imperial Rose Mini Bottles. I was invited on behalf of The FUTURE and Dishin’ It with Dwight to capture the event and talk with the VIP celebrity guests.
The chic champagne soiree series is running across New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Cleveland and Detroit and they are introducing Nectar Imperial Rosé minis. The new champagne bottles are very trendy, elegant, and made so that you can actually sip the champagne from its golden flute. The private evening in New York City was hosted in Hell’s Kitchen at Hotel Ink 48 and the celebrity host was Def Jam’s multi Platinum Recording artist, The Dream. The Dream also offered a private listening session for his upcoming third album, Love King, due to release in Mid-June.
Idris Elba, Hollywood’s leading man (Takers and The Losers) and star of HBO’s hit drama series “The Wire” played a dual host/DJ and was very successful at keeping the vibe of the entire event oh so “Dreamy.”
The Rosé Lounge series will run from June – September with monthly, invitation only events hosted at yet-to-be-announced locations in each market.

About Moët & Chandon
For over 260 years, Moët & Chandon has been the symbol of glamorous celebrations, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary with the pop of a cork. Moët has been the champagne of cinema since the early days of Hollywood, supporting more than several hundred films since the 1930’s. The world’s most loved champagne has been the official champagne of the Golden Globe awards for nearly two decades, supported the Deauville Film Festival for more than a decade, hosted events at the Cannes Film Festival since the 1950s and in 2009 became the exclusive champagne of the Oscars. In the same way legendary film directors preserve timeless moments on film, Moët & Chandon continues to showcase its legendary love affair with the magic of movies.
