Braking The Cycle, the annual AIDS bike ride, which raises funds for the HIV/AIDS Services at New York City's LGBT Center, was a tremendous success this year. Traveling on a new route (Boston, MA to Manhattan) proved to be one of the most challenging rides to date. However it did not stop the efforts of over 150 participants to ride for hope: a world without AIDS.
I had the opportunity to chat up close and personal with some humbling and inspiring participants.
