Arts.Advocacy+Wellness: "Thought for the day"

Thought for the Day

You must reward yourself with every little step, every little accomplishment - Well Done - Greatly Done! Approach each small accomplishment as if it is a major success...like a Heisman Award, an Oscar, a CNN Hero of the Year, McArthur Fellow, Pulitzer Prize, Guggenheim Fellow, Fullbright Fellow. You get the point. Don't diminish any of your accomplishments because the small ones are just as important as the huge ones. Embracing and praising the small accomplishments will allow you to appreciate and fully own the larger achievements even more.

Well Done! Greatly Done! Greatly Achieved!

Arts.Advocacy+Wellness: "Thought for the day"

Thought for the Day

This week: Explore something different.
Today: Take a different route to work
Tomorrow: Try a different food item on the menu
Friday: Speak to the co-worker or person, you may not speak to. Even if it is simply saying hello, or acknowledging something pleasing about the person.
For the Weekend: Notice the small shifts you made. Be open for newness to enter your life by releasing some of the old. And finally reward yourself by taking yourself on a private weekend lunch date, movie, walk, shopping, or live event (no matter how big or small be good to you).

Listen out for the increase and blessings in your life AND be open to let it flow. Let yourself be stretched and grow. The Universe has you, The Universe Loves YOU.

Arts.Advocacy+Wellness: "Shadows&Lights @ Vegas MPowerment"

Sharing
Shadows & Lights
at
Vegas Mpowerment

Hello A.A+W and FUTURE readers,

So my debut collection of poetry is complete and will be released this winter. I recently had the opportunity to connect with a group of young men in Vegas, part of the Vegas Mpowerment group, and read a few selections from my book Shadows & Lights. Yes I enjoy performing my work as well as creating, and there is also a major blessing when I can actually connect to people and share in great conversation. Hopefully the men at Vegas Mpowerement continue the inspiration of sharing and giving and hopefully, my readers, can find a piece of themselves in the work.

Arts.Advocacy+Wellness: "OUT Artist Lester Greene - Regular Person"

GAY HIP HOP ARTIST
Lester Greene
Regular Person

Wanting to strip himself naked, wanting people to see "the real me," Lester Greene unapologetically shares his fantasies: a black man indulging intimately with a white man, in his provocative and exciting new video "Real Person."

Lester shared with me how after releasing the video he felt so much at peace. I could hear and feel the comfort in his voice during our conversation. How amazing and freeing it is when you embrace the Shadow&Light and live in your truth. The universe just opens up even more and you simply soar.

Congrats Lester and wishing you good health and prosperity.

Rocking the rhythmical lyrics and the sexy beats while humanizing the "Regular Person," I invite you on this journey with OUT Gay Artist Lester Greene. Now let's get this video on LOGO soon!

Cornelius's
HIV PSA Feature - I AM LIVING MY TRUTH
on LOGO TV

Hello A.A+W fans! I've finally been able to secure on online stream of the campaign I AM LIVING MY TRUTH, which has been airing on Logo TV. The outpour of support I received has been overwhelmingly positive and I am grateful for the many people who have contacted me personally. This campaign was important for me and my walk in living my truth on a day to day basis. I hope it continues to inspire those still living and braving this fight (those that are HIV positive and those that are HIV negative). Let's continue to brave this journey together and erase the stigma associated with this condition. Embracing you all. And now enjoy the PSA:

Tune into LogoTV & RuPaul's Drag U, every Monday night, and you'll catch the on air version of Cornelius's

The Skinny - A New Film From Patrik-Ian Polk

What's The Skinny?!

Patrik-Ian Polk, the award-winning filmmaker behind the hit LOGO television series "Noah's Arc", is now working on a brand-new project- THE SKINNY. And it's gonna be great, but we need your help to make it happen.

THE SKINNY has been in development for two years, and the project is on the verge of being fully funded. Some amazing people have already put their support behind this movie, and now we're bringing it to the Kickstarter community to help us cross the finish line.

What's it About?

THE SKINNY tells the story of five Brown University classmates who reunite one year after graduation for Gay Pride weekend in New York City. Magnus has just completed his first year of medical school and is excited to see his friends & introduce them to his new man, Ryan. Angelic Sebastian has recently returned from a year in Paris and looks forward to finally losing his virginity. Devilish trustafarian playboy Kyle is up to his old tricks, bagging as many hot bodied men as possible. Atlanta native Joey is hiding a few secrets, not including the obvious pounds he's packed on since graduating. And acid-tongued black British lesbian Langston tries to hold her own with the boys in the Big Apple. Through three action-packed days of sex, drama, secrets, lies & laughter- these five college pals discover just how much can change in one short year. And you won't believe what goes down at the Gay Pride Parade!
