Patrick Ian Polks new film The Skinny premieres in Washington, DC & Atlanta

"The Skinny" Exclusive
One Week Engagement Begins April 6th in Washington, DC & Atlanta, GA

THE SKINNY opens Friday, April 6th for an exclusive one-week engagement in Atlanta at the Midtown Art Cinema (931 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, GA 30308) and Washington D.C. at the E Street Cinema (555 11th Street NW, Washington DC 20004) with more cities to follow. We will be having a "Meet and Greet" with the director and the cast on Friday, April 6th at E Street Cinema at 7:30pm and 9:45pm. In Atlanta, we will be having a "Meet and Greet" with Polk and the cast at the Midtown Art Cinema on April 7th at 7:30 and 9:45pm.

From the director of cult classics PUNKS and NOAH'S ARC, comes the much-anticipated third feature film from Patrik-Ian Polk THE SKINNY, a sharply scripted comedy about a group of four young, black, gay men Magnus, Sebastian, Kyle, Joey and their lesbian best friend, Langston. They arrange to meet up in New York City one year after their graduation from Brown University. Their plans for a weekend of fun start off well, relaxed in each other's company as only old friends can be. But old tensions quickly resurface.

Drinking, drugs, hidden desire and the demands of promiscuity put friendship, trust and even lives at risk. In between sharp one-liners and a great soundtrack there's a few important lessons that these pleasure-seekers must learn for themselves. Written with a real sense of the demands of urban living, these bright and believable characters will remind you of someone you know. Remaining true to his past work, Polk addresses issues in THE SKINNY that face the LGBT community such as date-rape, infidelity, and HIV/AIDS awareness.
The film stars Jussie Smolett, Blake Young-Fountain, Anthony Burrell, Shanika Warren-Markland and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman. Supporting cast includes alumnus of Polk's past features such as Darryl Stephens ("Noah's Arc"), Jennia Fredrique ("Noah's Arc"), Wilson Cruz ("Noah's Arc") and Seth Gilliam ("Punks"). Also, the film introduces new actors Dustin Ross and internet sensation B. Scott.

In an exciting partnership, the film has teamed up with the Black AIDS Institute to promote the importance of health in the LGBT Community, especially in the Black and Latino communities. The Institute will sponsor appearances, receptions and panel discussions in Washington D.C. and Atlanta featuring producer/director Polk and cast members Jussie Smollett, Blake Young-Fountain and Jennia Fredrique (who all appear in the Black AIDS Institute's latest PSA campaign "Greater Than AIDS"). The Skinny director and cast will be on hand to discuss the HIV awareness story-lines in the movie and other sexual health issues of importance to the LGBT population.

"I've been involved with the Black AIDS Institute since the early days of my NOAH'S ARC television series, and I've been addressing issues of HIV and AIDS in my work since my first film PUNKS," Polk explains. "So it makes perfect sense to partner with them to promote their great cause and highlight the HIV awareness issues raised in my new film THE SKINNY."

The film also features music written and performed by Patrik-Ian Polk. With tunes that illustrate the highs and lows of the film, Polk sings with his heart and soul to capture the essence of it all. Polk was inspired by artists such as Grammy-Award winning Adele to "who had created a very personal album based on her romantic experiences," he says. Polk continues to share coyly that, "...most of the songs I wrote, although they fit very nicely in THE SKINNY, are actually about some very personal experiences with...someone very specific."

What do you mean Cee-Lo Green? F*CK Who?

This is by far the most entertaining video I’ve watched in a LONG time!!! What I love about Cee-Lo Green and his new single ‘Fuck You’ is that it’s something we all can relate to – don’t front, you’ve been there too. In this video, Cee-Lo takes on a retro look and style to illustrate his evolution from boy-mistreated to The Lady Killer. His new album The Lady Killer was released on November 9th. With over 27+ millions views on YouTube… he got a lot of EYEBALLS!!!

Essence Magazine Editor-in-Chief is Exiting

By Keith J. Kelly
NY Post

Angela Burt-Murray is out as editor-in-chief of Essence, the Time Inc.-owned fashion magazine for African American women, after five years at the helm.

She told staffers at a 4:30 p.m. meeting today that she is relocating to Atlanta with her family.

According to sources, the company quietly began preparing for the move a few weeks ago but wanted to proceed delicately to avoid re-igniting a controversy that flared this summer when Burt-Murray appointed a white woman to the key position of fashion director.

Sheryl Tucker, who took a buyout as an editor-at-large at Time Inc. in 2008, is being brought back to run the magazine on an interim basis.

Burt-Murray's decision to appoint a white woman, Ellianna Placas, to the fashion post incensed some readers, who argued it was difficult for people of color to make major inroads in mainstream fashion magazines and that Essence should be their domain exclusively.

Placas, who had previously worked at O, the Oprah Magazine, had been freelancing in the job for several months without incident before Burt-Murray appointed her as the permanent fashion director in late July.

But reaction was heated and immediate, even if it did attract a fair share of supporters.

"It's with a heavy heart that I learned that Essence magazine has engaged a white fashion director," Michaela Angela Davis, a former Essence fashion director and one-time editor in chief of Honey, wrote on her Facebook page, sparking a lively debate on the topic.

No mention was made of it in the official memo from Time Inc. Editor-in-Chief John Huey, in which he heaped praise on Burt-Murray for her contributions to the magazine, including the Essence Book Club and Essence Music Festival Seminar Series.

Huey said the company was "beginning our search for a new editor."

Former Morehouse Student Succumbs to Suicide

By Dr. O

www.askdro.com

I am overwhelmed and shocked! It has happened once again. The headline is that another Black male, with promise, has taken his own life today. Where does this stop? How do we stop this infectious process that is attempting to overtake our communities? Some experts believe that depression is likely a key factor in a 233% increase in suicide in black males ages 10-14 from 1980 to 1995. Suicide in the African-American community was hardly mentioned and much less recognized in the 80s. Now it seems as if this malady has become almost common place. Brothers speak-up and speak-out about your emotional pain. Is this a secret on the HBCU campuses here in America? I think probably so.

I believe that the culprit here is depression. We have got to aggressively get young men in for medical care. Is there a problem with access? I am sure there is, but how do we address this issue? Has the economy increased our young men’s brush with death? This phenomenon is puzzling to me. You are not a sissy if you come forward and reach out for help. This may be the key to your survival.

Maybe we are not availing ourselves to this group of men. Are there enough culturally competent practitioners to address this dilemma? This answer is a definite no! There has to be a call to action. Morehouse, Howard, Tuskegee, FAMU, Bethune-Cookman, Clark Atlanta University and all other HBCUs what is your call to action? How many more mothers’ boys have to go down this road? Is the nail in the coffin of HOPE? I am distressed. This has to stop someway and somehow. The perils of racism, unemployment, lost hope and depression are front and center. Now, what are we going to do?

Call to Action

1.
More specific “mental health” services available for African-American men on all HBCU and other college campuses.

2.
More forums that allow open and frank discussion about depression and suicide among males.

3.
Suicide hotlines available in high risk communities and colleges.

4.
APA and AMA call to action specific to this issue.

5.
More available community resources for practitioners that serve this vulnerable population.

6.
More articles and research on the phenomenology of this problem in high risk communities.

Karl Lagerfeld is the King of Collaborations. Every brand wants to tap into his creative genius as it is a stamp of chic approval for him to endorse your product. Latest on Lagerfeld’s plate is a collaboration with Coca-Cola. They have called on him for the new Coca-Cola Light aluminum bottle which features an illustration of the designer and his signature. The box set is completely exclusive, in true Lagerfeld fashion, and the black and white color palette remind us of another iconic brand that he has become so famous for designing: Chanel. A bottle opener also comes with the set, so that all your future parties can be done in style. Definitely a collector’s item.

FIFA World Cup comes to The USA?

This month is international month at The Future and we look at World Football aka Soccor.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the 19th FIFA World Cup, the premier international football tournament. It is scheduled to take place between June 11th and July 11, 2010 in South Africa. The 2010 FIFA World Cup will be the culmination of a qualification process that began in August 2007 and involved 204 of the 208 FIFA national teams. As such, it matches the 2008 Summer Olympics as the sports event with the most competing nations.

This will be the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation, after South Africa beat Morocco and Egypt in an all-African bidding process. This decision left the Oceania Football Confederation as the only confederation yet to host the FIFA World Cup. Italy is the defending champions. The draw for the finals took place on 4 December 2009 in Cape Town.

The FIFA World Cup, occasionally called the Football World Cup, but usually referred to simply as the World Cup, is an international football competition contested by the men’s national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The championship has been awarded every four years since the first tournament in 1930, except in 1942 and 1946 when it was not contested because of World War II.

The current format of the tournament involves 32 teams competing for the title at venues within the host nation(s) over a period of about a month – this phase is often called the World Cup Finals. A qualification phase, which currently takes place over the preceding three years, is used to determine which teams qualify for the tournament together with the host nation(s). The World Cup is the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world, with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the 2006 final.

During the 18 tournaments that have been held, seven nations have won the title. Brazil is the only team to have played in every tournament and have won the World Cup a record five times. Italy is the current champions and has won four titles, and Germany is next with three. The other former champions are Uruguay, winners of the inaugural tournament and Argentina, with two titles each, and England and France with one title each.

The 2014 World Cup will be held in Brazil.

The bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups is currently under way. These will be the 21st and 22nd editions of the FIFA World Cup. The bidding procedure to host both the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup began in January 2009, and national associations had until 2 February 2009 to register their interest. The executive committee of FIFA will announce their decision on the two editions in December 2010. Candidates have applied for either or both of the 2018 and 2022 tournaments, but the 2022 hosts will not be chosen from the same continent as the 2018 hosts.

Nine individual nations registered their intention to bid with FIFA by the February 2009 deadline: Australia, England, Indonesia, Japan, Qatar, Mexico, Russia, South Korea and the United States. Additionally Belgium and the Netherlands registered to bid together, as have Portugal and Spain.[4] Mexico however later withdrew its bid. FIFA confirmed the list of bidders in March, with Indonesia, South Korea and Qatar bidding for 2022 only.

In October 2007, FIFA ended the continental rotation policy. Instead the last two tournament host confederations are ineligible, leaving Africa ineligible for 2018 and South America ineligible for both 2018 and 2022. Other factors in the selection process include the number of suitable stadia, and their location across candidate nations. Due to the number of bids received by FIFA, this World Cup is expected to be the most hotly contested bid ever, mainly due to the revision in FIFA's rotation policy. As a result, Sepp Blatter has said that FIFA may follow the International Olympic Committee and have a preliminary elimination of bids some time before the final ceremony.

Boy Wonder Boy - Donald Glover of COMMUNITY

Stone Mountain, Georgia, can boast two famous native sons: 30 Rock’s Kenneth the Page (who happens to be fictional) and Donald Glover (who happens not to be). They’re not unrelated, of course. Glover is the upstart comic who nabbed a dream job -- writing for 30 Rock, whereby he put his hometown on the map -- only a few days out of NYU. After three successful seasons, he quit to pursue stand-up, but just as quickly landed a part in NBC’s new sitcom Community. In addition to all that, he’s somehow managed to write, shoot and star in the feature film, Mystery Team (which premiered at Sundance) in collaboration with Derrick Comedy, his YouTube-adored sketch group, and also tape a half-hour stand-up special that airs this March on Comedy Central.

On Community, Glover holds his own alongside Chevy Chase and Joel McHale, but he’s a long way -- if not a long time -- from his online beginnings. “Everyone else I’ve seen in other places before, whether it’s Mad Men or Fletch or The Soup,” he says of his costars. “People are like, ‘Oh, hey, I’ve seen the YouTube short of you pooping yourself!’” Luckily, poop sells. The Derrick videos -- with more than seven million views -- helped send him from Tina Fey’s workaholic writers’ room to a spot in front of the camera.

But he’s not Derrick’s only beneficiary. Watch the Derrick canon carefully and the best of comedy’s new class flashes by: The Office’s Ellie Kemper, SNL’s Bobby Moynihan, Parks and Recreation’s Aubrey Plaza. They’re all products of New York’s UCB Theater, the current high temple of sketch where Glover’s hilarious oddness was honed. “I remember going for the first time,” he reminisces. “I saw a dude in a Darth Vader mask fuck another dude in the ass with a dildo. That scared the shit out of me -- and I realized, this is my home.”

Comedy Central Presents: Donald Glover airs March 19th at 11 p.m.

Blue Chip Company - Better Days Radio

This is our third week on business pioneer’s and future Blue Chip Companies to watch.

THE BROADCAST EMPIRE BUILT FROM THE MICROPHONE UP

Everyone loves a hero. We love old fashioned rags to riches stories about starting at the bottom and zooming straight to the top. Cathy Hughes' story is one of those. In the world of radio and business, she has built an empire and attained status of truly heroic proportions. A college drop-out who became pregnant at 16, Hughes gained 82 pounds and suffered from depression. However, her son, Alfred, became her inspiration and her motivation. Unstoppable, Hughes pushed forward, saying a prayer every morning, and behind the microphone---raising hell. She has slept nights in a sleeping bag on the station's floor and played her own LPs brought from home to fill air time, working in every aspect of radio from sales to talk show host.

In 1973, Hughes was named general sales manager to WHUR-FM in Washington, D.C, and by 1975 was hired as the general manager of the station. Under her guidance, WHUR-FM, which had been struggling along with $300,000 in annual sales revenues, increased its annual revenues to more than $3.5 million. In 1978, Hughes left WHUR for WYCB Radio, where she served as the vice president and general manager of the station.

Hughes and her husband at the time, Dewey Hughes, decided they wanted to buy their own radio station in 1979, and after being rejected by thirty-two banks, they found a lender. With their loan, they purchased WOL, a small Washington, D.C. station and Radio One was born. While Hughes wanted a talk format for the station, the bank was pressing for music. A compromise was reached permitting Hughes to have a morning talk show program that was followed by music programming throughout the day.

Hughes' marriage ended shortly after purchasing the station and she began her path as a single mother. She purchased her husband's share in the station, but hard times soon forced she and her son, Alfred, to give up their apartment and move into the station to make ends meet. Over time, however, the station began turning a profit, largely due to the success of her talk show.

Today, Hughes and her son, Alfred Liggins, the president and CEO, work side by side running
Radio One, Inc., the largest African American owned and operated broadcast-company in the nation. It is the first African American company in radio history to dominate several major markets simultaneously, and the first woman-owned radio station to rank #1 in any major market. In 1995, Radio One purchased WKYS in Washington, D.C. for $40 million -- the largest transaction between two Black companies in broadcasting history.

In May of 1999, Hughes and Liggins took their company public. Hughes made history again by becoming the first African American woman with a company on the stock exchange. Radio One's value is currently in excess of $2 billion dollars. In 2000, Black Enterprise named Radio One, "Company of the Year", Fortune rated it one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For", and Radio One was inducted into the Maryland Business Hall of Fame.

This week’s Future Mogul Blue Chip Company to keep your eyes or should I say keep your ears open for are the Radio POWER Duo Sir Daniel and Drama Dupree from
www.BetterDaysRadio.com headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. This month they celebrate their 1 year anniversary. The radio media moguls, Sir Daniel (SD) and DRAMA DUPREE (DD) shared with Lil Mogul (LM) their views on the power of the media, their 10 year plan and if Lady Gaga will take over the world in 2010.

(LM) What’s your Zodiac Sign?

(SD) Virgo
(DD) PISCES

(LM) Where were you born?

(SD) The island of the sun, Barbados
(DD) OPELIKA, ALABAMA A SMALL TOWN NEAR AUBURN UNIVERSITY

(LM) Where do you currently live?

(SD) Atlanta

(DD) ATLANTA, GA

(LM) Where did you go to college?

(SD) Clark Atlanta University (Go Panthers!)

(DD) I ATTENDED TWO JR. COLLEGES SOUTHERN UNION FOR BUSINESS AND BAUDER COLLEGE FOR FASHION DESIGN

(LM) What do you do (career or claim to FAME)?

(SD) I am the creator and co-host of
Better Days Radio, Online radio for us by us (photo of Sir Daniel)

(DD) MY CLAIM TO FAME IS YOUTUBE ON
DRAMADUPREE.COM. I ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE I AM NOT A FAMOUS PERSON AND I AM NOT THAT POPULAR AMONGST THE MASSES. BUT I AM POPULAR AMONGST THE POPULAR PEOPLE.

(LM) How did you get started in your new found career or industry?

(SD) For several years I worked as a Producer and Board operator at THE major urban radio station in Atlanta where I soaked up everything you could possibly learn about the industry and creating good shows. One day I stepped back and realized that my personal goals weren't being fulfilled and my talents were not being used. So on a whim I decided to create my own opportunity to showcase my abilities and to talk about issues that meant something to me.

(DD) I WAS FIRED FROM MY CORPORATE JOB AT HOME DEPOT AND I WANTED TO VENT. A FRIEND GAVE ME A CAMCORDER AND SO I VENTED, UPLOADED IT TO YOUTUBE AND FRESH FROM CRUNK AND DISORDERLY POSTED THE VIDEO ON HER SITE AND I WAS AN INSTANT HIT

(LM) Do you think entrepreneurship is for everyone and/or important?

(SD) The entrepreneurial spirit is not in everyone. It takes a commitment that could almost be considered a compulsive obsession.

(
DD) HONESTLY, NO I DO NOT. EVERYONE DOES NOT HAVE A BUSINESS MIND. NOW WITH THAT BEING SAID, I THINK IF SOMEONE FINDS A GREAT PARTNER THEN MAYBE. I, DONT HAVE A GREAT BUSINESS MIND BUT I HAVE GOOD BUSINESS MINDED PEOPLE IN MY CAMP. YES I THINK ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS VERY IMPORTANT, AFTER ALL SMALL BUSINESS' ARE WHAT MAKE AMERICA GREAT.

(LM) What was one of your highlights as an entrepreneur or during your career path?

(SD) So far my biggest highlight was broadcasting live during Atlanta Pride '09 from the lobby of the host hotel.

(DD) WHEN I WAS FEATURED ON CNN AND WAS WRITTEN ABOUT IN ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION. I KNEW THEN THAT SOMEONE WAS LISTENING AND LOOKING. I PRAY THEY STILL ARE. I ALSO LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FACT THAT MY OWN COMMUNITY HAS TAKEN A LIKING TO ME. I JUST KNEW YOU ALL WERE NOT FEELING ME AND THEN WHAM, I WAS HIT IN THE HEAD WITH EMAILS AND COMMENTS AND I WAS ELATED THAT MY OWN KIND LIKE ME AND APPRECIATED WHAT I DO. (photo of Drama Dupree)

(LM) What would you share with other getting started as an entrepreneur or on their career path?

(SD) For anyone on the path to their dream, please know that it can be a lonley place because no one else shares your vision, but that vision is God given. And there is a lot to be said for visualization and projecting your vision and goals. Write it down and make it plain
!

(DD) BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. KNOW YOUR BRAND. STAY TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE. NO ONE WILL BUY WHAT YOUR SELLING, IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU ARE SELLING.

(LM) If you can TELL the community to AWAKE UP – What should they be aware of?

(SD) The community needs to be aware of their power to create a new reality and to change to world's perception of who we are.

(DD) AIDS. ITS LIKE WE DONT PAY ENOUGH ATTENTION TO THIS DISEASE TODAY. WE DONT SEE ITS REAL AFFECT IN OUR COMMUNITY. THE PEOPLE THAT ARE POSITIVE DONT TELL US THAT THEY ARE POSITIVE OR THEY DISAPPEAR FROM OUR COMMUNITY. THEY NEED TO SPEAK UP AND TELL US THEY ARE STILL HERE. TELL US THEIR STORY SO WE CAN LEARN FROM THEM. TODAY, WE JUST DONT SEE IT. IM GOING TO NEED FOR US TO SEE IT AND FOR US TO KNOW THAT IT IS STILL HERE.
STABILITY AND FINANCIAL INDEPENDANCE ARE ALSO SOMETHING OUR YOUNGER GENERATION AND SOME OLD HEADS NEED TO BE MADE AWARE OF.

(LM) What is your ultimate 10 year plan for The Future?

(SD) In 10 years I plan on being an international media pundit

(DD) TO HAVE MY OWN TV/RADIO SHOW ON A GLOBAL SCALE ON A MAJOR NETWORK. TO BE VERY SUCCESSFUL AND STAY AWAY FROM SEX SCANDALS; UNLESS OFCOURSE IT HELPS MY CAREER...LOL. YOU KNOW THE GAYS LOVE A GOOD SEX SCANDAL WITH A HOT DATE...LOL, LET ME STOP.

(LM) What motto do you live by?

(SD) Manners matter- be gentleman first.

(DD) LEARN TO USE WHAT YOU HAVE GOT AND YOU WONT NEED WHAT YOU HAVE NOT! RIGHT NOW I DONT HAVE A MAJOR TV SHOW, I HAVE YOUTUBE, I DONT HAVE A MAJOR RADIO SHOW, I HAVE BETTER DAYS RADIO. SO IM USING WHAT I'VE GOT.

(LM) President Obama has completed 1 year in office what do you think about this performance?

(SD) I think President Obama is doing the best he can with what he was given. I believe he is going to turn it up a notch and some people won’t be ready for that.

(DD) I SAW AN INTERVIEW WHERE I BELIEVE HE GAVE HIMSELF A 'B' AS A GRADE. I WOULD GIVE HIM A 'C+'. I KNOW HE CANT DO EVERTHING IN A YEAR BUT I BELIEVE HE COULD HAVE DONE BETTER IN TERMS OF THE LAWS THAT AFFECT THE LGBT COMMUNITY. I KNOW HE HAS HIRED A LOT OF OPENLY GAY PEOPLE AND TRANSGENDERED FOLK BUT I STILL THINK THERE ARE THINGS HE COULD HAVE ADDRESSED IN HIS FIRST YEAR. SO I SAY A 'C+'.

(LM) Have you seen a Change?

(SD) I have seen a change in some of America's behavior since Obama came into office. Some of it is progressive and some of the behavior screams of a darker time in America's history.

(DD) OH GOODNESS YES, I HAVE SEEN CHANGE. THANKS TO HIM I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO MAINTAIN MY LIFESTYLE DUE TO HIS INCREASES WITH THE UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. WITHOUT THAT FINANCIAL HELP I DONT KNOW WHERE I WOULD BE. PROBABLY STILL OUT THERE ON THAT CORNER. I ALSO LIKE THE FACT THAT HE MAKES HIMSELF AND HIS FAMILY SEEM APPROACHABLE UNLIKE THE PREVIOUS PRESIDENT. IVE SEEN HOW HE HAS TRIED TO UNITE THE DEMOCRATS AND THE REPUBLICANS. PREVIOUS PRES, NOT SO MUCH.

(LM)What is new in the music industry? (hip hop is a major force but what is next?) World Fusion, Alternative Pop, Indie Bands, etc.??? What would you like to see?

(SD) The music industry is struggling whether we realize it or not. But you will see a lot more hybrid music. Many "rap" artist will become more experimental with their music. I also believe OUT Hip Hop will have a major break-through turning the world upside down.

(DD) WHAT I SEE HAPPENING IS A RESSURGANCE OF OLD; BUT ITS NOT WORKING FOR US, WE ARE NOT BUYING IT, WELL IM NOT BUYING IT. YOU CAN SEE THAT FROM RECORD SALES. WHAT I LOVE TO SEE ARE ALL OF THE INDEPENDANT ARTISTS WHO ARE DOING THINGS FOR THEMSELVES. AND HONESTLY, THEY ARE PRODUCING BETTER MUSIC. I WANT TO SEE DANCE MUSIC FOR THE MASSES, LIKE WHAT THE BLACK EYED PEAS ARE DOING. AND REAL LOVE SONGS, LIKE ANITA BAKER, NOT REMAKES OF R&B ARTIST INTO A NEW VERSION OF R. KELLY.

(LM) Is Lady Gaga going to take over the World? (Music, Fashion, Red Carpet)

(SD) Lady Gaga is brilliant and she willed herself into an icon in only 2 short years. It will be interesting to see how multi-faceted she is in the near future.

(DD) YES, I THINK SHE IS. TO ME SHE IS THE RUPAUL AND MADONNA OF THE NEW DECADE. REMEMBER ALL THE BUZZ RUPAUL AND MADONNA CREATED WHEN THEY FIRST CAME ON THE SCENE. LOOK AT WHO WAS BEHIND RUPAUL'S IMAGE. LOOK AT WHO MADONNA SURROUNDED HERSELF WITH. NOW, LOOK AT WHO IS BEHIND LADY GAGA, A BUNCH OF UBER TALENTED QUEENS. SEE WHAT WE CAN DO, WHEN WE ARENT BITCHING AT EACH OTHER. WE CAN COME TOGETHER AND CREATE SOMETHING GREAT LIKE LADY GAGA.
