Broadway's Young Star, 11-year-old Shannon Skye Tavarez (Young Nala in The Lion King on Broadway), was laid to rest on Monday November 8, 2010. We will miss our Fierce young star, but her legacy will live on. One of Shannon's final request was to help save other kid's lives, like herself, who suffered from AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia).
